Abstract

The present invention relates to a hydrogen leak detection system that has been specifically designed to effectively detect the appearance of leaks from the sealed hydrogen chamber into the atmospheric chamber that serves as a separation between said hydrogen chamber and the hydraulic chamber to prevent the risk of a dangerous increase in hydrogen concentration to reach a lower explosive limit (LEL) percentage considered unacceptable, as well as preventing the increase of this concentration from also occurring inside the compressor container itself by guiding it through vent pipes towards an extraction chimney.
