Abstract
A method for producing lignin granules is described. These granules contain between 90% and 99.99% lignin by weight, based on the total weight of the granules. The method comprises: providing lignin powder; mixing an additive with said powder to obtain a blended lignin powder; and subjecting this blended lignin powder to a pelletizing process to obtain lignin granules with a diameter between 2.5 and 8 mm. A lignin granule, a product, and its use are also described.
