Liquid cleaning composition for hand dishwashing

Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid cleaning composition for handwashing dishes, comprising a surfactant system. This system includes an anionic surfactant and a co-surfactant. The anionic surfactant is a mixture of a linear anionic surfactant and a branched anionic surfactant with a defined degree of branching, predominantly based on a non-alkoxylated alkyl sulfate surfactant. These compositions exhibit a surprisingly improved and unexpected foam profile, preferably a stable foam, especially when handwashing is performed in a sink filled with water containing the cleaning composition diluted in it.
