Abstract

Techniques are described for multiplexing non-acknowledged (NACK) physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions that overlap in the time domain with another uplink control channel transmission. An example of a wireless communication method includes a communication node first determining whether a scheduling request (SR) transmission should be made on a control channel; the communication node then making a second determination, in response to the determination that the SR should be transmitted on the control channel, that a first resource for a non-acknowledgment (NACK) transmission on the control channel overlaps in the time domain with a second resource for transmitting the SR; and transmitting, in response to the second determination, a sequence on the second resource on the control channel, where the sequence indicates the SR and a feedback message for the non-acknowledgment transmission.
