A semi-finished product (S) for the realization of a gyroscope (FOG), comprising a single package and a single substrate (TEC) on which is fixed: a superluminescent diode (SLED) with a polarized light source (Lsour), a PIC in which a waveguide group (WG) is formed by an optical coupling device (OC) arranged to couple the light source (Lsour) with the PIC, in which at least one photodiode (PD) is formed or hybridized in the PIC to receive a return light beam from the PIC.
