Abstract
A modular display unit with multiple sub-displays that include sensors, multiple pixels, and processors configured to: acquire electrical energy from the pixels based on the voltage applied to their light-emitting diodes; and operate in dehumidification mode if the humidity, obtained from the sensors, is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold. Operation in dehumidification mode includes controlling the activation time of the light-emitting diodes and the voltage of their cathodes, so that the electrical energy is maintained at a predetermined value.
