Video encoder, video decoder and corresponding method

Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide a video encoder, a video decoder, and a corresponding method. The method comprises: analyzing a code sequence to obtain an index, which is used to indicate a target group of candidate motion vectors of a current decoding block; determining, according to the index, the target group of candidate motion vectors from a list of affine candidate motion vectors, comprising at least a first group of candidate motion vectors, obtained from a first set of control points of a first adjacent affine decoding block; said first set of control points of the first adjacent affine decoding block is determined according to the position of a decoding tree unit (CTU), where the first adjacent affine decoding block is located, relative to the current decoding block;and obtain a pixel prediction value of the current decoding block by predicting based on the target candidate motion vector group. With the implementations of this application, memory reads can be reduced, thereby improving encoding and decoding performance.
