Abstract

Power reserve charging device for automatic watches. The invention consists of a device based on two interlocking modules, in which the upper module (1) has an internally open toroidal ring configuration. Within this ring are mounted two parallel wheels [(8), (10)], one fixed and the other movable, driven by a motor (21) via an intermediate transmission. Both parallel wheels include opposing lateral teeth [(9), (9')] between which four equiangularly distributed gears [(11), (11'), (11''), (11''')] are located. Two of these gears are connected to a central shaft (12) on which a mounting flange (19) is attached. The watch to be wound mechanically is placed on this flange, while the other two gears provide greater stability to the assembly. The device may include lighting means, as well as various programming and protection systems.
