Abstract

The invention consists of a method for capturing a numeric code in a device (10) comprising a touch sensor (18) configured to handle six separate detection areas (01,..., 06) numbered according to a Braille matrix. The device's detector motor (11) detects several sequential taps in these detection areas, identifies which symbol (22) of the Antoine notation corresponds to these taps, and captures a digit (23) corresponding to the identified symbol. The detector motor interprets the tap in detection area (06) number six both as part of the identified symbol and as a command validating the input of that symbol.
