Abstract

Bio-ink for 3D printing of a scaffold (1) suitable for corneal tissue regeneration, composed of sodium alginate, hyaluronic acid, N,O-carboxymethylated chitosan, and collagen I, the latter subjected to a prior neutralization process using sodium hydroxide. The present invention also describes a method for 3D printing a scaffold (1) suitable for corneal tissue regeneration and a method for sterilizing the scaffold using ethylene oxide (EtO).
