Abstract

The tool uses two adjacent worm screws (9, 10), slightly separated and connected by protrusions (24, 25) that force them to rotate simultaneously, without preventing them from approaching each other axially. A spring (15d) pushes the screw (9) closest to the bed jaw. This screw, in turn, moves the toothed slide until it collides with the second screw (10), being clamped by both screws, thus eliminating the play. The tilting of the sliding jaw is eliminated by a spring (32), housed at the end of the slide, which rotates the sliding jaw about the pivot point (41). This pivot point is established by recesses (40) in the upper part of the slide. This rotation stops when the jaw flanges contact the bed (37d). The sliding jaw will always be in the working position, so no play will be experienced during use.
