Taxi Payment Assistance Device with Audio Announcement.

Abstract

According to the invention a compact taxi payment assistance device comprises a casing carrying an upright transparent panel which shows the telebirr number of the driver and a QR code, and a single play button by which a speaker announces the number aloud in Amharic and English from a memory. The device is held in the vehicle by a flexible arm carrying a magnet, so that it can be attached to the glass or iron body of the taxi and removed quickly. A passenger can therefore read, scan or hear the payment number without asking the driver, and can pay quickly and without number-entry mistakes.
