Collimator comprising a moving part and associated projector

Abstract

This collimator (8) comprises a light source (10) and a body (12) having a light entry surface (14), an intermediate light collimation surface (16), and a light exit surface (18). The body (12) of the collimator (8) includes a light entry piece (20) and a light exit piece (22). One of the light entry and exit pieces (20, 22) is movable between a position close to said other piece (20, 22) and a position far from said other piece (20, 22). The light entry piece (20) includes a light refraction surface (24) which is provided with a plurality of refraction patterns (26). The light exit piece (22) includes a light refraction surface (28) which is provided with a plurality of refraction patterns (30). Figure for the summary: Fig 3
