Abstract

A linear-acting pump device (1) for metering a fluid into a pump unit (1) of that fluid, comprising a magnetic motor unit (11) configured to drive a piston (10) of the pump device (1), the magnetic motor unit (11) being adapted to be mechanically connected to the front housing (2) of the injector, the pump device (1) further comprising a control unit (21) adapted to be mechanically connected, on the one hand, to the pump unit (1) and, on the other hand, to the magnetic motor unit (11), the piston (10) being adapted to cooperate in translation with the magnetic motor unit (11) by moving alternately along a central axis (OX) of the pump device (1), the alternating movement of the piston (10) relative to the magnetic motor unit (11) implementing controlled metering of the fluid.
