MECHANISM AND DEVICE OF A TWO-PUSHER ACTUATOR AND ASSOCIATED BRAKE DEVICE

Abstract

An actuator mechanism (22) for a brake device (10) comprises an actuator housing (30) and a drive wheel (36) rotating about a reference axis (200) perpendicular to a median plane (300). On each side of the median plane (300) are arranged a pushrod (24) and an intermediate plate (52), connected to the pushrod (24) by a threaded interface (64) and to the drive wheel (36) by a ball ramp interface (56). The threaded interface (64) has a helical direction that ensures the pushrod (24) is moved apart when the intermediate plate (52) rotates relative to the pushrod (24) in a direction of rotation that causes it to move apart. The ball ramp interface (56) has a ball ramp direction that ensures a separation of the intermediate plate (52) when the drive wheel (36) rotates relative to the intermediate plate (52) in the direction of rotation for separation.
