Abstract

TITLE OF THE INVENTION: DEVICE FOR MOVING THE WORKING ENVELOPE OF A ROBOTIC SURGICAL ASSISTANCE ARM The device (20) for moving the working envelope of a robotic surgical assistance arm (21) equipped with a base (56), comprises a carriage (22), a base (30) rotating about an axis of rotation (24) positioned between the carriage and the base of the robotic arm. The carriage includes: - a support (61) for a rotation shaft (31) of the base maintaining the axis of rotation fixed relative to the carriage, - a lower stop (32) for rotation of the base having an upper support face of the base, - an upper stop for rotation of the base having an lower support face of the base, - a lower stop (40) for the cam having an upper support face of the cam, - an upper stop (41) for the cam having an lower support face of the cam.A locking means (37, 38) for the base comprises, mounted on the base, a locking handle (37) rotatably mounted on a rotating shaft (38) supporting the cam. Rotation of the handle causes the cam to rotate between an unlocked configuration, in which the cam is not in contact with any stop, and one of two locking configurations in which the cam is bearing against a cam stop and the base is bearing against a lower rotation stop of the base.
