Abstract

An assembly (100) consisting of a tamper-evident ring (10) and a cap (20) for a bottle (200), said tamper-evident ring (10), once mounted on the bottle (200), being adapted to allow a secure connection of said bottle (200) to a suitable container to which the bottle (200) is intended to be connected, said cap (20) being adapted to close an inlet orifice (201) of the bottle (200), the tamper-evident ring (10) being adapted to be connected to the outside of the bottle (200), near the inlet orifice (201), said tamper-evident ring (10) comprising protrusions (11, 12) sized and positioned to cooperate with corresponding openings of a tamper-evident element, the latter forming part of or connected to said suitable container, said tamper-evident ring (10) also providing a tamper-evident function by means of the frangible elements (31, 32) of the tamper-evident ring.
