An installation (100) for the production of aggregates (G1, G2) for the manufacture of concrete from a raw material (RM) comprising fine grains (FG) having a particle size of less than 2 mm, the fine grains (FG) being derived from sand in the form of fine sand and / or round sand, the installation (100) comprising a melting device (1) configured to melt the raw material (RM) using solar energy to form an aggregate (AG), a grinding device (3) configured to grind the aggregate (AG) to form aggregates (G1, G2), and a melting chamber (6) comprising an upper opening (61) for filling with the raw material (RM) and a lower opening (62) for discharging the aggregate (AG), the melting device (1) being configured to heat the raw material (RM) in the melting chamber (6) via its upper opening (61).
