Vacuum pump and sealing gasket

Abstract

Vacuum pump (1) comprising: - a stator (2) having at least a first and a second complementary half-shells (3, 4) and a first and a second end piece (5, 6), - two rotor shafts, - at least one seal (13) comprising: - a first and a second annular end part (13a) interposed between a respective end piece (5, 6) and the half-shells (3, 4), and - two longitudinal strands (13b) connecting the annular end parts (13a) by being interposed between the half-shells (3, 4), the at least one seal (13) having at least a first (131) and a second (132) part butted to each other by junctions (130), said first (131) and second (132) parts being made of distinct elastomeric materials. The invention also relates to such a sealing gasket (13) for a vacuum pump (1). See illustration figure 1.
