Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling an electrical device, the method being implemented by a control unit (CU) and comprising a sequence for changing the power state of a high-voltage (HV) circuit of the electrical device, the high-voltage circuit comprising switches or a pair of power switches (S1, S2) connected in series or in parallel, the sequence for changing the power state of the high-voltage circuit comprising steps consisting of: receiving a detection signal (DS) of a voltage in the high-voltage circuit; transmitting a state change command (C1, C2) successively to the power switches; and detecting a state inconsistency between the state change command applied to one of the switches and the detection signal.
