Abstract

The invention relates to a method for securely distributing an API key for access by a requester's terminal to service software provided by a service provider. This method comprises receiving (E1) a request (ReqAPI) for an API key to access said service software (Soft), selecting (E2) a set of validation servers, validating (E3) data by the set of validation servers, and analyzing (E4) a proof of transaction to determine whether or not to issue the API key to the requester.
