Device for cutting laurel branches

Abstract

The device comprises a frame (2) connected to power unit by means of coupling system (1), branch-cutting apparatus (3) mounted on the frame, and a mechanism (8) for pushing cut branches. The frame for mounting cutting apparatus is arranged at an inclination relative to the horizontal, while the cutting apparatus is designed as stationary blades (4) and two discs (5) positioned above the blades and rotatable in one direction, the discs carrying replaceable cutting blades. The device is further provided with guide shield (7) for directing cut branches, a hopper (6), and retaining mechanism (10).
