Adjustable ventilation / cooling system for interior spaces

Abstract

The present invention relates to a system of louvers which is installed externally to any frame, and serves the adjustable ventilation or cooling of the spaces equipped with said frame. It consists of vertical louvers which are articulated in special horizontal pieces. These louvers are manufactured from any transparent and rigid material. The installation of the louvers (Figure 1 [1]) is carried out after connection elements (Figure 1 [2]) are first installed externally to the frame and the windows or doors (Figure 1 [3]), the connection elements also containing the mechanisms for locking the louvers at the desired angle (Figure 1 [1]). This method ensures the following: The flow of fresh air to the interior is regulated at the desired intensity, as the larger the opening angle, the greater the entry or exit of air from or to the interior space. Furthermore, it optimally utilizes the wind direction, while the angle of incidence ensures the regulation of flow and intensity. When the louvers are closed, they provide additional insulation to the frame.
