Automated machine for the preparation and wrapping of pitogyros

Abstract

The present invention relates to an automatic machine for producing and wrapping pitogyros, constructed from stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning, with a compact base including shelves for the ingredients, a chamber for the gyros meat, and space for the wrapping mechanism, with dimensions 1.5 x 0.8 x 1.8 meters. The machine operates in four stages, namely roasting the gyros / meat on arotating spit with an adjustable thermostat; cutting the meat with an automatic knife which, using a sensor, slices it into thin slices; a system with a rotating disc or conveyor belt where the pitas are transported to the heating platform; a mechanism that adds the ingredients according to programming via a computer; and an automatic wrapping system that secures the pitogyros in paper. Once the process is completed, the pitogyros exits the machine via a conveyor belt for delivery to the user. The machine addresses the challenge of faster production and wrapping of pitogyros for consumption, with an estimated speed of 4 pitogyros every 3 seconds.
