Claims 2 / 2 pages 3 CN 121358657 A Anchor Background Art

[0001] The present invention relates to an anchor intended for anchoring heavy marine or offshore objects, such as drilling platforms or floating wind turbines anchored on the seabed. Summary of the Invention

[0002] Such anchors typically include an anchor claw and a shank connected to the anchor claw. In conventional methods, the anchor is fully assembled on shore and then transported to the anchoring ground by an anchoring vessel. Alternatively, the anchor claw and the shank form a sub-assembly that is assembled on the anchoring vessel before anchoring. Especially for the commissioning of floating wind turbines in offshore wind farms, it is economical and applicable on a large scale, wherein a large number of anchors are loaded into each shipment to the offshore commissioning area.

[0003] The purpose of this invention is to provide an anchor that can be transported and assembled in an efficient manner.

[0004] According to a first aspect, the present invention provides an anchor comprising an anchor claw, a shank connected to the anchor claw, and an anchor connector on the shank, the anchor connector attaching the anchor claw to an anchor line or anchor chain to mount the anchor in an anchored ground in a penetration direction, wherein the shank includes a left shank leg and a right shank leg, wherein the left shank leg includes a left base section and a left interlocking body, the left base section being connected to the anchor claw and incorporated into a left connecting device for the anchor connector, the left interlocking body being on and protruding from the left connecting device, and wherein the right shank leg includes a right base section and a right interlocking body, the right base section being connected to the anchor claw and incorporated into a right connecting device for the anchor connector, the right interlocking body being on and protruding from the right connecting device for interlocking with the left interlocking body by insertion into each other in an insertion direction, wherein the left interlocking body and the right interlocking body have a polygonal cross-section transverse to the insertion direction.

[0005] The anchor according to the invention includes a shank, the shank being formed with a left shank leg and a right shank leg, wherein the shank can be pre-assembled by interlocking a left interlocking body of the left shank leg and a right interlocking body of the right shank leg to form a sub-assembly of the anchor. Since the interlocking bodies both have polygonal cross-sections, the left and right shank legs maintain their relative positions in an efficient manner to facilitate manipulation relative to the anchor claws, for example, by attaching the sub-assembly to the anchor claws on a ship anchored. Because the left and right shank legs can be manipulated individually before assembling the shank, they can be stored efficiently, allowing a large number of anchors to be transported to offshore commissioning areas.

[0006] In an embodiment, the polygonal cross-section is a triangular or rectangular cross-section.

[0007] In an embodiment, the left and right interlocking bodies are prismatic in their length along the insertion direction.

[0008] In an embodiment, at least one of the left interlocking body and the right interlocking body includes a constraint chamber having a polygonal cross-section for constraining another interlocking body having a polygonal cross-section inserted in the left interlocking body and the right interlocking body.

[0009] In an embodiment, the left interlocking body and the right interlocking body are formed of steel plates with a polygonal structure.

[0010] In an embodiment, the left interlocking body and the right interlocking body are hollow bodies.

[0011] The above embodiments work well in offshore and seabed environments.

[0012] In an embodiment, the left interlocking body has a left distal end adjacent to the right connecting device, or the right interlocking body has a right distal end adjacent to the left connecting device. [0044] As shown in Figures 3A and 3B, a plurality of identical anchor claws 10 can be effectively stacked on top of each other to form an anchor claw stack 130. Anchor claws 10 open from below, wherein anchor claws 10 are partially nested within each other, and due to the connection angle D, the lower left edge 42 and lower right edge 43 of the upper anchor claw 10 are located next to the central penetrating plate 11 and on the corresponding straight left outer penetrating plate 20 and straight right outer penetrating plate 21 of the lower anchor claw 10 in the anchor claw stack 130. The central penetrating plate 11 of the lower anchor claw 10 is compactly located between the left beam plate 40 and the right beam plate 41.

[0045] As shown in Figures 4A and 4B, the left shank leg 71 and the right shank leg 72 can be effectively stacked on each other to form a material in the form of a shank component stack 140, wherein in a projection transverse to the parallel extending left base principal plane Q and right base principal plane R, the left base segment 73 and the right base segment 74 overlap on most of their surfaces, i.e. quantitatively overlap on at least 60% of their surfaces. In the layer of left base section 73 stacked on right base section 74, left front mounting lug 77 and right front mounting lug 87 form the outermost portions in the projection transverse to the parallel extending left base principal plane Q and right base principal plane R. Due to the curvature along left penetrating edge 75 and right penetrating edge 76, left hook-and-loop mounting plate 81 and right hook-and-loop mounting plate 82 are positioned in opposite directions transverse to the outer sides of the projection transverse to the parallel extending left base principal plane Q and right base principal plane R.The left hook-and-loop mounting plate 81 and the right hook-and-loop mounting plate 82 both stand upright at an upward angle from their respective left base main plane Q and right base main plane R, and are adjacent to each other in the adjacent areas 141 within their respective left base sections 73 and right base sections 74. The left interlocking body 85 and the right interlocking body 86 protrude in the same direction and from their respective left hook-and-loop mounting plates 81 and 82 toward the left base main plane Q and right base main plane R. The right handle leg 72 and its longer right interlocking body 86 are stacked above the left handle leg 71, and the distal end of the right hook-and-loop mounting plate 82 defines the maximum height of the handle component stack 140. Alternatively, the left handle leg 71 and the right handle leg 72 can be effectively stacked on top of each other to form a handle component stack, wherein the left base section 73 and the right base section 74 are completely stacked on top of each other, wherein the left base main plane Q and the right base main plane R are parallel to each other, and wherein the left hook mounting plate 81 and the right hook mounting plate 82 are tilted upright and far apart from each other in opposite directions. In this alternative handle component stack, the left base section 73 and the right base section 74 completely overlap each other in projections transverse to the parallel extending left base main plane Q and right base main plane R.

[0046] Alternatively, as shown in Figures 5A and 5B, a plurality of identical left handle legs 71 can be positioned such that the left base main plane Q is parallel to each other, wherein the left interlocking body 85 can abut the left hook mounting plate 81 of the adjacent left handle leg 71. In the same manner, as shown in Figures 6A and 6B, multiple identical right handle legs 72 can be positioned so that the right base main plane R is parallel to each other, wherein the right interlock body 86 can abut the right hook mounting plate 82 of the adjacent right handle leg 72. The parallel positioning of the base main planes Q, R allows for compact mounting of the handle legs 71, 72.

[0047] Figure 2 shows the assembly of the anchor 1 from its components. The left handle leg 71 and the right handle leg 72 are not stacked and are positioned relative to each other such that the left interlock body 85 can be fully inserted into the right interlock body 86 in the insertion direction G. Subsequently, the left mounting lugs 77, 79 and the right mounting lugs 87, 89 are inserted into the corresponding left insertion slots 50, 51 and right insertion slots 52, 53 in the direction H, wherein tolerances allow for relative movement of the left handle leg 71 and the right handle leg 72 to facilitate this insertion. After insertion, the mounting holes 78 and 80 of the left handle leg 71 align with the left mounting hole 56 in the left beam plate 40, and the mounting holes 88 and 90 of the right handle leg 72 align with the right mounting hole 57 in the right beam plate 41, thereby receiving mounting pins or bolts 58 therein. In the assembled state, the left base principal plane Q of the left base section 73 and the right base principal plane R of the right base section 74 both extend with a divergence angle E relative to the longitudinal symmetry plane M, where the divergence angle E is equal to the connection angle D.
