VIBROEXTRACTION PROCESS FOR OBTAINING HOMOGENIZED HYDROSOL SOLUTION (HHS) OF MEDICINAL AROMATIC HERBS FOR PROTECTION OF TELOMERES OF HaCaT HUMAN CELLS

Abstract

This invention "Vibroextraction process for obtaining homogenized hydrosol" "solution (HHO) of LJAMB for the protection of telomeres of HaCaT human cells" refers to the optimization of the extraction process of phenolic acids from selected LJAMB from the Lamiaceae family, which prevent oxidative damage to HaCaT human cells, selectively on telomeres, in order to obtain HHO that can be used in technological processes for the production of products that prevent uncontrolled loss of TRF2 protein and maintain telomere stability without affecting the activity of the telomerase enzyme. The HHO thus obtained is characterized by polyphenolic ingredients (bioactive components), including phenolic acids (hydroxycinnamic and hydroxybenzoic), especially rosmarinic acid, rosmarinic acid dimer, rosmarinic acid trimer, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, gallic acid and p-hydroxybenzoic acid.The above ingredients in synergy exhibit a significant antioxidant effect, anti-inflammatory effect, antigenotoxic effect, the effect of preventing damage to cells and cellular DNA, preventing oxidative damage to proteins and positively affecting the viability of HaCaT cells (human keratinocytes). The use of the HHO thus obtained allows for the correction of defects on the surface of the facial skin with the aim of cosmetic improvement and successful fight against accelerated aging.
