Abstract

The present invention relates to a sheet (5) for binding into a book block (7) consisting of: 4 printed pages of paper (1) of the same size, of which 4 printed pages of paper (1) are the two first printed pages of paper (1) and the two second printed pages of paper (1), 4 pages of double-sided adhesive material (2) of which 4 pages of adhesive material (2) are the two first pages of adhesive material (2) and the two second pages of adhesive material (2), and a layer of solid flexible material (3) which is placed between the two first printed pages of paper (1) and the two second printed pages of paper (1). The two first printed pages of paper (1) and the two second printed pages of paper (1) are glued to both sides of the flexible material (3) by means of the pages of double-sided adhesive material (2) in such a way that there is a gap (8) between the two first printed pages of paper (1) and the two second printed pages of paper (1).The present invention also relates to a method of making a sheet (5) and a book block (7) comprising a plurality of sheets (5) sewn together along a gap (8) and additionally by means of transverse strips (6).
