Abstract
A wall block with supports for the construction of retaining walls, especially retaining cascade walls in several rows in height, where there is a risk of landslides, comprises a wall block (A) and at least one support (B). The wall block (A) is designed in the shape of a capital letter "L" with a thicker vertical leg (5a) and a thinner horizontal leg (5b). The support (B) has the shape of a cuboid with a tooth (11). The supports (B) are placed on the wall block (A) so that the longer side (9) of the support (B) rests against the back side of the thicker vertical leg (5a) of the wall block (A) and that the shorter side (10) of the support (B) rests against the upper side of the thinner horizontal leg (5b) of the wall block (A), whereby the tooth (11) engages the thinner horizontal leg (5b) from the back side. The supports (B) serve as additional support for the wall block with the supports from the upper row in the retaining wall and as a weight to stabilize the wall block (A) on which they are placed, which also strengthens the retaining wall and neutralizes the earth pressure.Wall block with support for building retaining walls in particular supporting cascading walls in several rows in height, where there is a risk of landslides, comprises a wall block (A) and at least one support (B). The wall block (A) is made in the shape of a capital letter "L" with a thicker vertical arm (5a) and a thinner horizontal arm (5b).The support (B) has the shape of a rectangular box with a tooth (11). The supports (B) are located on the wall block (A) so that the longer side (9) of the support (B) rests against the rear side of the thicker vertical arm (5a) of the wall block (A) and that the shorter side (10) of the support (B) leaning against the upper side of the thinner horizontal arm (5b) of the wall block (A) wherein the tooth (11) comprises a thinner horizontal arm (5b) at the rear. The supports (B) serve as an additional base for the wall block with supports from the upper row in the retaining wall and as a weight to stabilize the wall block (A) on which they are placed, which also strengthens the retaining wall and neutralizes ground pressure.
