A machine for making insulating mats

Abstract

The production line on the machine for making insulating mats according to the invention starts with a cutter that has a special tool (43) for cutting the sticks (44) without waste and they are taken to the corresponding table of the gluing machine by a conveyor. The sticks (44) are placed on a driving endless belt (17) while the material in a roll (45) comes from above. Thus joined, they pass through an iron (2) operating at 300° C and are thus united into one material (46). They then pass through a front iron (18) and are cut to the required size. In this way, an identical product (46) is obtained, but in this case the waste (41) is only approximately 1%, which represents a great improvement compared to the procedure according to the existing state of the art because it reduces environmental pollution on the one hand and production costs on the other hand, while all the functionalities of the product (46) remain completely the same.
