Abstract
Long-term preservation of seeds for sowing in addition to the sensitivity of the plants themselves in the earliest phase of development represents one of the biggest challenges in agricultural production. In most plant species, in order for the seed to retain its ability to germinate, it must be kept within the margins of ideal temperature and moisture without excessive deviations (given that too much moisture, too much dryness, and sometimes too low temperature can destroy the plant embryo). With this invention, the aim of the inventors was to improve the sowing process in such a way as to increase the success of germination and sprouting of seeds for which sowing is carried out in substrates or soils that do not have ideal conditions in relation to moisture content, nutrients and other factors responsible for germination and initial growth of a sprouted plant. One such solution is to coat the seed with wool, that is, coating the seed with raw sheep's wool.
