A support device for tunnel construction and a method for use thereof

Abstract

The present invention provides a support device for tunnel construction, comprising a lower frame (1) with a hydraulic cylinder (4) mounted thereon, wherein the retractable end of the hydraulic cylinder (4) is connected to the lifting plate (5) via a pressure-sensitive sensor (17), an arcuate upper plate (8) for the tunnel roof is connected to the lifting plate (5) from above via several first elastic support rods (7), wherein the two ends of the first elastic support rod (7) are articulated coupled to the lifting plate (5) and the upper plate (8), respectively; several support assemblies (6) mounted on the lower part of the lifting plate (5), wherein several sliding assemblies are connected to each of the support assemblies (6) mounted on the lower frame (1); two sets of transmission assemblies are arranged on the lower part of the lifting plate (5), wherein two sets of positioning assemblies are provided on the two sets of transmission assemblies, respectively for the left side wall of the tunnel and the right side wall of the tunnel, corresponding to each set of transmission assemblies with at least one transmission rod (9) in connection therewith, which is provided on the lower part of the upper plate (8); and the hydraulic cylinder (4) and the pressure sensitive sensor (17) are electrically connected to the control assembly (18) mounted on the lower frame (1). The support device for tunnel construction according to the present invention is practical, cleverly designed in structure, easy to operate and highly practical.
