A boat mooring device

Abstract

A boat mooring device (100) is used to moor a boat at a boat mooring location (22) such as a dock or pier, the boat mooring device (100) comprising a mooring arm (2) configured to extend between a boat (15) and the boat mooring location (22), a base (4) (such as a foot or support) for supporting the mooring arm (2) at the boat mooring location (22), a spring (I) for connecting the mooring arm (2) to the base (4), and a swivel joint (3) disposed between the spring (1) and the mooring arm (2) for enabling rotational movement between the spring (I) and the mooring arm (2), wherein a first end of the spring (I) is connected to the base (4) and the second end of the spring (I) is connected to the swivel joint (3). Mooring is efficiently and securely achieved by connecting the mooring device (100) to a padlock device (200) configured to be fixed by mounting to the surface of the boat, which includes a lock to secure the boat in port.
