Offline system for safe data storage in network environment

Abstract

An offline system for safe data storage in a network environment (007,107,207,307) includes an end-user device and a transient data storage (018) conditionally connected to the outside world (015) via a first physical isolation (016) or to an offline multiple storage system (056) via a second physical isolation (019). The system includes a process management unit (017) that controls all data cycles according to a predefined schedule and is equipped with features of responses and resistance to unauthorised modifications to protect against unauthorised access. Multiple "n" cold data stores (021, 022, 023, 024) that are never directly connected to the outside world (015) and are protected from unauthorised access, and an inaccessible program logic controller (025) that connects the cold data stores to the data unit (020) and via another physical isolation (019) to the transient data storage (018). The system enables one-way data transfer from the outside world (015) to the offline multiple storage system (056) and communication and monitoring of the system status via communication isolation element connections (072) to prevent external unauthorised modification.
