Abstract
The related utility model refers to an anticorrosive coating obtained by processing the distillation sludge formed in the process of waste solvent recovery from the flexible packaging printing industry and the automotive industry. The coating is predominantly polymer-based, with a solid content of 10% to 98%, and exhibits pseudoplastic (thixotropic) flow behaviour comparable to commercial anticorrosive coatings. By optionally adding an organic solvent (regenerate, 5-10%) or bitumen (10-30%), it is possible to adjust the rheological and application properties of the coating. The coating adheres to the metal substrate, covers it with an appropriate thickness of dry film and dries in air at room temperature, and its properties meet the requirements of the HRN EN ISO 12944 standard. This is to achieve the conversion of hazardous waste into a usable industrial product, to reduce the total amount of hazardous waste and carbon dioxide emissions.
