Abstract

The invention relates to compounds of the following general formula (I) or (II),                              wherein the groups R1?R6 independently represent a H atom, a halogen atom, or a straight-chain or branched alkyl or cycloalkyl group having 1?4 carbon atoms; X represents a single covalent bond or 1?4 phenylene group; R7 represents a bridged bicyclo- or tricycloalkane having 5?12 carbon atoms, which may be unsubstituted or optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of: halogen, straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1?4 carbon atoms, hydroxyl, amino (?NH2), mono- or dialkylamino (?NHR8R9), cyano (?CN), carboxyl (?COOH) or carboxamide (?CONR8R9), where R8 and R9 independently represent a H atom, a straight-chain or branched alkyl or cycloalkyl group having 1?6 carbon atoms; as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, tautomers, and stereoisomers of the compounds, including enantiomers, diastereomers, racemic mixtures, mixtures of enantiomers, or combinations thereof. The invention also relates to the use of the compounds and to pharmaceutical compositions comprising them.
