Abstract

A battery (1) comprising a cell (13), a housing (12) and a cover assembly (11); wherein the housing (12) is adapted to receive the cell (13), the cover assembly (11) is connected to each of the cell (13) and the housing (12), characterized in that the cover assembly (11) comprises: a busbar plate (112) arranged in the housing (12), which is connected to the upper end of the cell (13) and is mechanically connected to the first electrode tab (131) of the cell (13); and a cover plate (111) arranged in the lower end of the housing (12) and connected to the second electrode tab (132) of the cell (13); wherein the cover plate (111) is provided with a welding portion (1111) and an explosion-proof valve (1112); wherein the welding portion (1111) protrudes relative to the cover plate (111) toward the cell (13), and the explosion-proof valve (1112) protrudes relative to the cover plate (111) in the direction opposite to the cell (13).
