Abstract

Microfluidic diffusion cell for testing locally applied active substances and preparations, comprising:- a microfluidic unit (1) comprising a channel layer (8) in which a horizontal microfluidic channel (2) is formed and where a widening reservoir (3) is formed along the microfluidic channel (2), and a sealing layer (7) above the channel layer (8), in which an acceptor chamber (6) is formed above the reservoir (3) and is open towards the reservoir (3) and upwards, and where an inlet (4) is formed at one end of the microfluidic channel (2) and an outlet (5) is formed at the other end,- a donor chamber (11) for receiving active substances and preparations formed above the acceptor chamber (6) and which is open upwards and towards the acceptor chamber (6),- a tissue (9) which is formed between the donor chamber (11) and the acceptor chamber (6) is enclosed between, - an upper stiffening frame (12) and a lower stiffening frame (13),which surround the microfluidic unit (1) which is provided with an upper stiffening layer (20) and a lower stiffening layer (21), are fitted together and are secured to each other by frame-holding screws (14), characterized in that it further comprises - a tissue holding unit (10) arranged in an adaptation window (18) formed on the upper stiffening frame (12), which includes the donor chamber (11), wherein the donor chamber (11) is in fluid communication with the acceptor chamber (6) and the reservoir (3) through tissue (9) clamped between the donor chamber (11) and the acceptor chamber (6), and wherein the tissue holding unit (10) is secured to the upper stiffening frame (12) by pivoting wing screws (15).,
