Door frame for installation in a wall with a door opening, consisting of three parts: a front strip (1), a main support (2), a rebated second slat (3), wherein the main support (2) forms the central part of the door frame and is provided with two fixing grooves (21, 22) on two opposite sides, i.e. a first fixing groove (21) for receiving and fixing a first slat (1) and a second fixing groove (22) for receiving and fixing a second slat (3); wherein the first slat (1) forming the door frame adjustment slat and the second slat (3) forming the door frame cover slat are each designed as a corner element, which is provided with a cover branch (11, 31) and a second fixing branch (12, 32), wherein the fixing branches (12, 32) of the first slat (1) and the second slat (3) are respectively fixed in the fixing grooves (21, 22) of the main support (2), wherein the main support (2) of the door frame is located inside it, the second is provided with a stiffened structure (4) on the side provided with the fixing groove (22), characterized in that the fixing branch (32) of the second slat is connected to the free end,that is, the stiffened structure (4) of the main support (2) with respect to the end of the fixing branch (32) protruding from the second fixing groove (22):? starts at a distance of at least 45 mm and ends at a distance of at most 100 mm from the free end of the fixing branch (32) of the second strip (3), and furthermore, in the area of ​​the stiffened structure (4), the main support (2) is provided with two further internal stiffening walls (41) in addition to the rear wall (23) facing the wall in its assembled state and the front wall (24) facing the inside of the door opening in its assembled state, which are parallel to the front and rear walls, and the thickness of each of the stiffening walls (41) is between 2 and 5 mm.,
