Door frame for installation in a wall with a door opening, comprising three parts: - a first strip (1), - a main support (2), - a second strip (3), where the main support (2) forms the central part of the door frame and is provided with two fixing grooves (21, 22) on two opposite sides, i.e. a first fixing groove (21) for receiving and fixing the first strip (1) and a second fixing groove (22) for receiving and fixing the second strip (3), where the first strip (1) forming the door frame adjustment strip and the second strip (3) forming the door frame cover strip are each designed as a corner element, which is provided with a cover branch (11, 33) and a second fixing branch (12, 34), where the fixing branches (12, 34) of the first strip (1) and the second strip (3) respectively are located in the main support (2) is fixed in its fixing grooves (21, 22), where the main support (2) of the door frame is provided with a stiffening structure (4) inside it, on the side provided with the second fixing groove (22), characterized in that the fixing branch (34) of the second slat is fixed to the free end,that is, the stiffened structure (4) of the main support (2) with respect to the end of the fixing branch (34) protruding from the second fixing groove (22):- starts at a distance of at least 60 mm and ends at a distance of at most 100 mm from the free end of the fixing branch (34) of the second strip (3), and furthermore, in the area of ​​the stiffened structure (4), the main support (2) is provided with two further internal stiffening walls (41) in addition to its rear wall (23) facing the wall in the assembled state and its front wall (24) facing the inside of the door opening in the assembled state, which are parallel to the front and rear walls, and each of which further stiffening walls (41) has a thickness of between 2 and 5 mm.,
