Figure 1 EN 220 948 B1 The description is 12 pages long (including 7 pages of illustrations). HU 220 948 Bl The invention relates to a faucet cartridge, mainly for mixing cold and hot water, which cartridge is preferably a universal flat disc mixer faucet cartridge. In technical practice, faucet inserts called cartridges are already known, which close the cold and hot water branches and open them as needed, mix the cold and hot water, and redirect it to the faucet outlet in a single structural unit, called a cartridge. These cartridges, as standard, include a cartridge housing closed by a base, and an inlet disc fixed inside the cartridge housing, one side of which is connected to the base, while the other side is connected to a rotating and sliding control disc. The control dial is moved by a lever mounted in a lever holder via a ceramic actuator. The arm holder holding the actuator arm is rotatably arranged in the cartridge housing. The inlet disc and the control disc have suitable holes or cavities to regulate the inflow of cold and hot water and the outflow of mixed water. The simpler cartridges described above are widely used because they are suitable for performing the basic functions expected of a cartridge used in a faucet without any additional features. However, there is an increasing need for the cartridge to also perform other functions. Among the functions to be performed, the most common ones are pressure equalization, the use of check valves, and reversal. Balancing the pressure of the cold and hot water entering the cartridge is a very important task, because a sudden change in the pressure of one of the water branches without pressure equalization can cause the user to be scalded or suffer cold water shock. A drop in cold water pressure often occurs if a cold water fitting, such as a toilet flush valve, is installed in the water supply system near the mixer tap, because when it is operated, the cold water pressure suddenly drops, causing the water flowing out of the cartridge without pressure equalization to suddenly become hot. Check valves are needed when there is a possibility that liquid from the higher pressure water branch can flow into the other water branch when the cartridge is open. A diverter is needed if you want to connect the cartridge to a cold and hot water supply that is arranged opposite to the usual one, for example on either side of a bathroom wall. Various solutions are known to the above tasks according to the current state of the art. US Patent No. 5,725,010 discloses a pressure equalizing and mixing faucet in which the pressure equalizing assembly is arranged in the faucet body between the conventional cartridge and the water inlets. A pressure-equalizing cartridge is also described in patent application EP 0559998, the essence of which is that the traditional cartridge base is formed with a protrusion, in which a nest perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the cartridge is formed, in which a pressure equalizer is also arranged perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the cartridge. Check valves are usually installed on the supply water lines themselves, so according to traditional practice, they do not form an integral unit with the cartridge. For example, the solution for turning is known from US patent number 4,676,270, where the turning is performed by a cylinder mechanically independent of the cartridge. Patent application EP 0771980 also discloses a solution in which structural elements with different functions are attached to the respective cartridge housing by interposed connecting elements. The disadvantage of the above solutions is that they are task-specific, meaning that the cartridge base must be designed separately for each task. The aim of the present invention is to create a solution that can be generally applied without any special expertise to provide cartridges known per se with elements with various additional functions, in order to eliminate the above unfavorable characteristics. The object of the present invention is to design a cartridge that quickly and simply ensures that an integrated arrangement can be easily and quickly formed from the cartridge known per se and elements providing various additional functions. The subject of the invention is therefore a mixer tap cartridge - mainly for mixing cold and hot water - which has two discs arranged one above the other in the cartridge housing, forming a seal along a plane with each other, a fixed inlet disc and a sliding and rotatable control disc placed on one side of the inlet disc, which control disc is mechanically connected to a drive lever rotatably mounted in a lever holder, optionally via a ceramic actuator, and the lever holder is rotatably arranged in the cartridge housing, furthermore, on the other side of the inlet disc there is a base forming the lower part of the cartridge housing, provided with inlet openings, one side of which is connected to the inlet disc, while the other side is designed to be connectable to the faucet provided with connection passages. The essence of the invention is that a connecting element is formed on the other side of the cartridge base facing the faucet body, establishing a connection between the connection passages of the faucet body and the inlet openings of the base, preferably designed to receive several inserts with different functions, the axis of which is essentially parallel to the axis of the cartridge housing. It is advantageous if the insert is arranged at least partially between the housing and the connecting element. The insert can be a pressure equalizing insert, a straight-through insert, or a reversing insert. HU 220 948 B1 The faucet cartridge according to the invention is described in detail below based on the exemplary embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, the Figure 1 is a side view section of the basic type of cartridge according to the invention with insert, the Figure 2 is a side view section of the basic type of cartridge according to the invention without an insert, the Figure 3 is a side view of the basic type of cartridge according to the invention, Figure 4 is a bottom view of the basic type of cartridge according to the invention, Figure 5 shows the design of the standard cartridge insert according to the invention, Figure 6 shows the design of the pressure equalizing insert of the cartridge according to the invention, while the Figure 7 shows the design of the cartridge insert with a flip-over mechanism according to the invention. Figure 1 shows that a housing 3 is arranged in the faucet body 12 of a faucet, in which a lever holder 2 is rotatably mounted. In the arm holder 2, a moving arm 1 is mounted around a rotation axis 7, which is connected to a control disc 5 via a ceramic actuator 4 and is placed on one side thereof. On the other side of the control disc 5, an inlet disc 6 is arranged, in which openings are formed for the introduction of cold and hot water and the outlet of mixed water. One side of the inlet disc 6 is therefore connected to the control disc 5, while the other side is connected to one side of the base 9 forming the lower part of the housing 3, and on the other side of the base 9 a connecting element 14 is formed, forming a connecting location designed to receive an insert 10, the axis of which is parallel to the axis of the cartridge housing 3. Sealing rubber 8 is arranged in the openings of the base 9 and the inlet disc 6, while seals 11 are arranged between the faucet body 12 and the housing 3, between the bases 10 and 9, and between the other end of the insert 10 and the faucet body 12. In a known manner, connection passages 13 are formed in the faucet body 12. Figure 2 shows the faucet cartridge according to Figure 1 without the insert 10. Figure 3 is a side view of the cartridge shown in Figure 1. Figure 4 shows the base 9 in bottom view. The insert 10 shown in Figure 5 is suitable for straight penetration. The insert 10 shown in Figure 6 is designed as a pressure equalizing insert. The insert 10 shown in Figure 7 is designed as a translation insert. The operation of the cartridge according to the invention is described in detail below. As can be seen in Figure 1, by operating the actuator 1, the relative position of the control disc 5 and the inlet disc 6 can be changed via the ceramic actuator 4. By closing or bridging the openings formed in the inlet disc 6 by the control disc 5, the temperature and quantity of mixed water flowing out into the faucet body 12 through the opening formed in the base 9 can be changed in a manner known per se. The insert 10 placed in the connection element 14 forming the connection location in the direction of the cartridge axis ensures the connection between the connection passages 13 formed in the faucet body 12 and the inlet openings of the base 9, and the seals 11 arranged between the faucet body 12 and the insert 10 ensure the sealed separation of these connecting spaces and the interior space of the faucet body 12. In the cartridge housing 3, which is known per se, the cold and hot water flows from the connection passages 13 of the faucet body 12 through the respective insert 10 into the openings formed in the base of the cartridge, and then into the holes or openings of the inlet disc 6. By replacing the 10 inserts, the cartridge equipped with the 10 inserts can perform different functions, such as simple introduction with the 10 inserts according to Figure 5, pressure equalization with the insert according to Figure 6, and reverse passage with the 10 inserts according to Figure 7. The inserts 10 are always inserted into the connecting element 14 in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the cartridge, so the seals 11 are put under pressure after installation when the cartridge is placed in the faucet body 12, thus ensuring a sufficient seal. The advantages of the cartridge according to the invention are that the function of the cartridge can be arbitrarily configured or changed with the available 10 inserts by simply replacing the 10 inserts, which does not require any special skills.
