Abstract

MOVING TUBE CONVEYOR A moving tube conveyor includes a feed tube (10), a traveling unit (20), a pair of arrival detection sections (30), and a control unit (40). The pair of arrival detection sections is configured to detect the arrival of first and second traveling sections (21) and (22), respectively, and includes first and second detection sections (31) and (32) arranged along the direction of travel of the traveling unit (20) so as to correspond to each other in positions at intervals not exceeding a limit value of the difference in travel distances between the first and second traveling sections (21) and (22).The control unit (40) controls the travel of the travel unit (20) so as to enable the travel unit (20) to travel while the travel distance difference between the first and second travel sections (21) and (22) does not exceed a limit value by stopping the travel of the travel unit (20) when one of the first detection sections (31N) detects the arrival of the first travel section (21), the travel of the first travel section (21) is stopped until one of the second detection sections (32N) located in conjunction with it detects the arrival of the second travel section (22).
