Abstract
Biomass carbonization furnace functions to convert various types of biomass waste into charcoal (biochar) through a carbonization process at high temperatures, generally ranging from 300-600°C, with limited oxygen conditions. This tool has a reactor capacity of 20 liters per batch and can process various types of biomass, such as banana peels, coconut shells, rice husks, corn cobs, sawdust, pine waste, and other biomass waste into value-added charcoal products. The carbonization process causes an increase in fixed carbon content and a decrease in volatile substances and water content, resulting in high-quality charcoal that can be used as raw material for bio-briquettes.
