Abstract

This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a graphite-like activated carbon material for a secondary lithium-ion battery negative electrode. This material is composed of carbon. Carbon materials such as graphite are known to have the ability to store large amounts of electrical energy and have high power. To improve the performance of the activated carbon anode, the anode is made using a one-stage activation and carbonization technique. Based on the analysis results, this invention produces a product with good physical and chemical characteristics as a carbon anode for secondary batteries.
