Development of the BRIGHT (Brilliant Resource Integration for Gifted and High Talent) Application to Optimize Career Determination for Smart and Special Students

Abstract

This invention concerns a technology-based educational technology system for the identification, potential mapping, talent development, and optimization of career determination of exceptionally intelligent students through the BRIGHT (Brilliant Resource Integration for Gifted and High Talent) application. The invention is in the fields of educational technology, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and decision support systems (DSS). The BRIGHT system is designed to integrate academic, psychological, behavioral, interest, talent, and student learning activity data through digital devices and IoT sensors such as wearable devices, eye trackers, and smart learning devices. The data obtained is processed using machine learning technology and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to produce potential analysis, self-development recommendations, personalized learning, and career path determination that suits student characteristics.This invention also features a web- and mobile-based monitoring dashboard that allows teachers, parents, and educational institutions to monitor student progress in real time and continuously. The BRIGHT system can improve the objectivity, effectiveness, and accuracy of managing exceptionally intelligent students based on data and adaptive technology.
