Abstract COMPOSITION OF ANTIDIABETES EFFERVESCENT GRANULES COMBINATION OF BINAHONG AND SAMBUNG NYAWA EXTRACTThis invention relates to the composition of antidiabetic effervescent granules combination of Binahong (Anredera cordifolia) and Sambung Nyawa (Gynura procumbens) extracts as herbal preparations for glucose control and dyslipidemia in diabetes mellitus with obesity. This invention uses the best formula consisting of 3.5% Binahong extract, 3.5% Sambung Nyawa extract, 15% citric acid, 20% tartaric acid, 28% sodium bicarbonate, 4% PVP K30, 24% lactose, and 2% aspartame, with a total of 100%. The composition produces 20 effervescent granules that are stable, easily dispersible in water, have physical qualities that meet the requirements, and are organoleptically acceptable. Combination of Binahong and Sambung Nyawa extracts in a 1:1 ratio.This invention provides improvements to previous antidiabetic herbal preparations through a practical, stable, and applicable effervescent granule formula for the development of standardized herbal medicines.
