Abstract
A ladder / stepladder with a pair of main rungs supporting rails and a pair of supplementary ground engaging rails, of variable lockable length, hinged to the lower part of main rails and by splaying outward to a suitable lockable angle and adjusting their lockable length appropriately they provide a wider level base for the ladder / stepladder.
