Abstract

A portable, battery-operated trailer lighting tester comprising a bridge-shaped housing with an integrated angular carry handle. The housing follows an inverted-U profile designed to straddle a removable battery pack while providing a balanced hold. The enclosure is fully enclosed to IP40 rating. The front face features a rocker power switch with voltage labelling. One end incorporates an interchangeable connector mount accepting either a 7-pin or 13-pin trailer socket. The centre features a battery bay for a removable battery pack. One side incorporates an integrated holster for the wireless remote control. The upper surface carries the product logo and chevron emblem in a contrasting colour. An optional auxiliary 3-pin socket may be fitted. The remote control features an antenna and a grid of ten colour-coded buttons coordinated with ISO trailer wiring colours. The same housing accommodates both 12V and dual-voltage configurations by varying only the switch labelling.
