Abstract

The automatic potato planter is equipped with a gearbox for adjusting the speed of the distributor. The main components of this machine include a furrower, a tank, a bucket chain distributor (with a cup), carrier wheels, a distributor speed adjusting gearbox and the corresponding lever, a power transmission system, a clutch and furrowers. The planting unit of the machine includes two furrowers, a tank, two bucket chain distributor units and earthen furrowers that plant two rows of potatoes in total. This machine is equipped with a cam gearbox to adjust the speed of the distributor to adjust the distance between the tubers on each planting line. The cam gearbox mechanism has a continuous and variable speed from zero to up (maximum 90) which is done by cams. In previous potato planter models, the distance between the tubers planted on the rows was adjusted from 14 cm to 25 cm by changing the chain wheels. By changing the chain wheel and chain mechanism to a gearbox mechanism, which has been done for the first time and is not available in Iranian or foreign models, the ability to adjust more than 50 potato tuber planting distances on the rows is provided. Also, by changing the method of adjusting the distance between the tubers planted on the rows from the chain wheel and chain to the gearbox, the adjustment time is reduced from a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 2 seconds.

Description

Description of the invention Title of the invention Automatic potato harvester equipped with a speed adjustment gearbox. Technical background of the relevant invention This invention is in the field of agriculture and is used for planting potatoes with the ability to adjust the distance between tubers on the planting lines in about 50 ways. Technical problem and stating the objectives of the invention Potatoes are commonly equipped with a sprocket and chain mechanism for adjusting the speed of the distributor. This mechanism consists of a series of driven and movable sprockets with different diameters and numbers of teeth. Adjusting the speed in this mechanism is limited, time-consuming, and somewhat difficult. Also, due to space and cost constraints, a large number of sprockets cannot be used. Therefore, adjusting the speed of the distributor and, as a result, the distance between the tubers on the planting lines is limited. Therefore, to solve these problems, instead of using a sprocket and chain mechanism to adjust the speed of the distributor, a gearbox mechanism was used. This mechanism includes a cam gearbox, a corresponding lever, and a graduated plate. Adjusting the speed of the distributors is done easily and in a short time (about 2 seconds) by moving the lever and positioning it on each level. A description of the state of the prior art and the history of developments related to the claimed invention. According to surveys conducted in Iran and around the world, no potato harvester equipped with a variable speed gearbox was observed. In the patent registration number 109930 of 1401, Ebrahim Shirani Borujeni introduced a potato planter with a seed holding lever for the appropriate amount of soil on the tubers. Ghazanfar Karami and colleagues registered a potato planter-cultivator behind a tiller under number 77792 in 2012 at the Intellectual Property Center of the National Real Estate and Documents Registration Organization. Providing a solution to an existing technical problem along with an accurate, sufficient, and integrated description of the invention The main components of this machine include the furrower, tuber tank, seed bucket assembly, cam gearbox and related lever, clutch, soiling furrowers and axle and wheel assembly. All components of the machine are placed on the wheel axle (Figure 17-2). Also, the front of the machine has a three-point hitch (three-point connection) for mounting on the triple arms (two lower arms and one middle arm) of the tractor for easy transportation (Figure 21-2). The machine is equipped with a tank into which potato tubers are poured (Figure 1-2). The tank is also equipped with a vibrator (Figure 5-2). The vibrator causes the potato tubers to flow to the front of the tank where they are distributed and prevents the tubers from accumulating at the rear of the tank. The machine is equipped with a bucket-type chain distributor system (Figures 3-2 and 15-2). The spoon chain dispenser, as shown in Figure (3-2), consists of a rotating chain that moves vertically and upwards, with small spoons attached around this chain. The size of the scoops is such that it can take only one piece of potato tuber from the seed hopper. As the chain goes down, the potato tuber falls into the cup on the back surface of the front scoop and into the soil groove created by the furrow openers (Figure 19-2). The machine has two furrow openers (Figure 19-2) at the front and three furrowers (Figure 16-2) at the rear of the machine for soiling and creating ridges. This machine is equipped with a cam gearbox mechanism with continuous and variable speed from zero to up, which is carried out by cams, to adjust the rotation of the distributors and, consequently, adjust the distance between planting tubers on the cultivation lines. This mechanism includes a cam gearbox (Figure 11-2), a gear change lever (Figure 13-2), and a graduated plate. The graduated plate is graduated from zero to 90. By setting the lever to the desired degree and holding the desired degree constant with the four-wing nut, the rotation speed of the distributor and consequently the distance of the tubers on the cultivation lines can be adjusted. A clutch is also used for the safety of the power transmission systems (Figure 12-2). Explanation of shapes, maps and diagrams Figure 1) This figure shows an isometric view of the device. A clear and precise statement of the advantages of the claimed invention over prior inventions. 1- Using a gearbox mechanism to adjust the distributor speed instead of a sprocket and chain mechanism makes it easier and more convenient to adjust the planting distances of tubers on the planting lines. 2- By changing the method of adjusting the distance between planting tubers on the lines from the sprocket and chain to the gearbox, the adjustment time is reduced from a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 2 seconds. 3- By changing the method of adjusting the distance between planting tubers on the lines from sprockets and chains to gearboxes, the number of adjustable distances can be increased from a maximum of 5 positions in the chain and sprocket method to more than 50 positions in the gearbox method. Description of at least one implementation method for implementing the invention This device consists of the main components: tuber tank, furrow opener, seed bucket assembly, cam gearbox and related lever, clutch, axle and wheel assembly and soiling furrowers. The device is mounted on the tractor. To do the work, first connect the device's bracket to the lower arms and the middle arm of the tractor. The distance between the tubers is done according to the instructions and by changing the gearbox ratio. To do this, place the lever on the desired ratio and fix it with a four-point nut. Inspect the gearbox oil through the oil sight glass. If it is low or empty, fill it with grade ten (SAE 10) oil in sufficient quantity (visible through the glass). The large upper screw of the glass window is for filling the gearbox oil and the large lower screw is for emptying the gearbox oil. Then fill the hopper with potato tubers and start planting. Explicit mention of the industrial application of the invention This device is used in agriculture and is capable of accurately planting potato seed tubers at different distances on planting lines.
