Title: "ANTI-PANIC HANDLES" A none: IMPSpA based in Tavemelle di Panicale (PG) ****** 10 Die. 1999 The present invention relates to an anti-panic device. Panic exit devices are known that comprise an elongated box-shaped body that is fixed to the side of the door facing the room and has an open U-shaped section to house the operating bar. A pair of parallel transmission levers, articulated in a parallelogram shape in the box-shaped body, is attached to the bar, one of which is operationally connected to the door lock. Current grab bars feature caps at opposite ends of the box-shaped body to cover and protect the opposite ends of the operating bar. However, it has been found that these caps have a structure that can prevent the handles from being operated in an emergency. In this case, the bar, following the pressure exerted on it, enters the box-shaped body, while the caps remain protruding from its opposite ends. In a panic situation, these extremities can constitute dangerous gripping elements for clothing worn by the Or. Eng. Guido Mediano, S. Lara Modtanò' Vera Modiano, Dr. Eng. Nemo Zanottl, Carlo Venturoli people or for accessories such as bags, umbrellas, etc. The technical task of the present invention is therefore to devise an anti-panic handle designed in such a way that, even in the pressed position of the operating bar, there are no protrusions that could create obstacles to the passage of people. Within the scope of this task, an object of the present invention is to create a structurally simple handle that operates safely and effectively. This aim and this purpose are achieved with an anti-panic handle comprising an elongated box-shaped body made up of a profile having a substantially U-shaped section, a pair of levers articulated in said box-shaped body in contrast with elastic transmission means and connected to an articulated parallel, one of said levers being operationally connected with a locking lock, a bar housed in said box-shaped body and constrained to said pair of levers so as to be mobile, parallel to itself, between a position protruding from said box-shaped body and a position substantially internal to said box-shaped body, characterised by the fact that, at the end opposite the lock, it has a first element for closing the bar and a second element for closing the box-shaped body, said second element having a height such as to do not lean over the bar when it is in internal position of said box-shaped body. Further details will become clearer from the following description of an embodiment illustrated by way of example in the attached drawings in which: Fig. 1 shows a panic handle from the front and in the open condition; Fig. 2 shows a panic bar in the open condition, sectioned along the longitudinal plane II-II of fig- i; Fig. 3 shows the handle in section and in closing condition; Fig. 4 shows a sectional view along plane IV-IV of Fig. 2; Fig. 5 is a sectional view along the VV plane of Fig. 3; Figure 6 is a sectional view of a lever and Figure 7 is a plan view of the lever of Fig. 6. In the above figures 1-5, the panic bar is generally indicated with 1 and comprises an elongated box-shaped body 2, made up of a profile having a U-shaped section with a bottom 3 (figures 4,5) and two walls 4,5 which rise perpendicularly from said bottom 3 so as to identify a longitudinal cavity 6. In the walls 4.5, near the internal corners defined with the bottom 3, two longitudinal grooves are obtained 7,8, in which two plates 9,10 are inserted and positioned along the grooves. The plate 9 has two fins 11,12 which rise from it from the lateral thrushes and carry an articulation pin 13 for a lever 14 composed of two triangular portions 15,16 connected to each other by a bridge 17. The triangular portions 15,16 are crossed by two pins 18,19 which, with respect to the articulation pin 13, define the two arms of the lever 14. On the pin 13 there is a spring 20 whose opposite ends are engaged under the bridge 17 and under a lobe 21 bent by the fin 11. In this way the spring 20 can act in the direction of lifting the lever 14 with respect to the plate 9. A block 22 is articulated on the pin 19 and has a shank 23 surmounted by an appendix 24. Through appendix 24 is screwed a grub screw 25 for fixing on the shank 23 of a tubular element 26 of quadrangular cross-section. The plate 9 extends out of the box-shaped body 2 with a portion 27 in which an ear 28 is obtained perpendicular to the plate 9. To the ear 28, by means of a screw 29, a cap 30 having a semicircular shape is fixed which, as is better shown in figures 3,4, is coupled to the walls 4,5 of the box-shaped body 2. The cap 30 has a lip 31 turned inwards and closes you . axially the cavity 6. The plate 9, once inserted into the grooves 7,8 until the cap 30 abuts against the walls 4,5 of the box body 2, is fixed by means of a pair of grub screws 32,33, screwed through the plate 9 and engaging against the bottom 3. The plate 10 is also locked onto the bottom 3 of the box-shaped body 2 and a slider 34 is slidably secured to it, actively operating a lock, generally indicated with 35, fixed onto the plate 10. The cursor 34 is served by means completely identical to those previously identified with the reference numbers 11 to 25 and supported on the plate 10. For the sake of simplicity, these vehicles are indicated with the same reference numbers increased by 100. The only evident difference concerns the block 122 which, compared to the block 22, is turned upside down by 180° to allow, on one side, the shank 123 to be inserted into the end of the tube 26 opposite to that engaged by the shank 23 and, on the other side, to act on a protrusion 36 integral with the slide 34. The levers 14 and 114 are operated by means of a bar 37 inserted in the cavity 6. z The bar 37 is composed of a profile having a U-section with two walls 38,39 connected by a curved back 40 which constitutes the thrust surface. The pairs of grooves 41,42 are intended to receive the opposite ends of the pins 18 and 118. In the example illustrated, the pins 18 and 118 are engaged in the pairs of grooves 42 so as to ensure a wide rotation of the levers 14,114. If, on the other hand, the rotation angle of the levers 14,114 is to be smaller, the pins 18,118 will be inserted into holes 44,144 provided at the ends of the levers 14,114, so as to engage in the pairs of grooves 41. The opposite ends of the drive bar 37 are closed by respective closing elements 45 and 46. Element 45 is hollow and has a shape that finds housing in the headset 30 and includes a bottom wall 47 semi-cylindrical shape complementary to the internal wall of the cap and a spherical wall 48 which with it forms a step 49. One end of the bar 37 is inserted into a seat 50 of the element 45 obtained near the front edge of the element 45. The element 46 consists of a cap equipped with internal ribs 52 for force insertion into the grooves 41,42. Conveniently, the end of the bar into which the element 46 must be inserted has a chamfered shape to connect to the box 53 which encloses the device 54 of the lock 35. The device 54 is of a known type and comprises a lever 55 pivoted like a rocker on a pin 56 of the lock. The lever 55 has a first pin 57 which, by means of a spring 58, is held against a projection 59 of the slider 34 and a second pin 60 which acts on a latch 61 articulated on a further pin 62 of the lock in contrast with a spring 63. The latch 61 is equipped with a locking lever 64 which prevents the latch from being fraudulently retracted when the latter is engaged on the striker 65. As is evident from figure 3 which represents the anti-panic lock, in the closed condition, the bar 37, by the effect of the springs 20,121 which insist on the levers 14,114, is maintained in the external position of the box-shaped assembly 2 and therefore of the closing of the cavity 6. In particular, step 49 of element 45 is located close to lip 31. When, in an emergency situation, you act on the tiller 37, the levers 14,114 rotate simultaneously due to the effect of the tube 26 that connects them, causing the block 122 to move towards the lock. The block 122 acts on the projection 36 of the slider 34 while the projection 59, acting on the lever 55, causes the latch 61 to retract into the box 31. In the unlocked position of the latch 61, the bar 37 is completely housed in the box-shaped body 2. It is a fundamental prerogative of the present invention that, when the bar 37 is inside the box-shaped body 2, i.e. it has been operated in an emergency situation, the handle 1 does not have, at the ends opposite, protrusions or similar capable of constituting handholds for the clothes of those who are preparing to go out. In fact, unlike known handles, the cap 30 does not extend above the level of the upper edge of the box-shaped body 2. At the same time, the element 46 axially closes the bar 37 and its rounded shape does not offer dangerous protrusions. An advantage of the handle described can be seen in the fact that the plates 9,10 supporting the levers 14 and 114 are positioned at opposite ends of the box-shaped body 2, with the portions 27 and 127 extending outside the box-shaped body 2. The handle can be mounted using screws driven through slots 66 of the portion 27. and similar slots of portion 127. The distance between portions 27 and 127 allows the screws to be inserted into the side edges of the door, avoiding having to apply screws through the bottom 3 of the box-shaped body. In this way, the box-shaped body 2 can extend transversely like a bridge over the central area of the door and allow the handle to be applied to doors made of glass sheets. CLAIMS 1. Panic exit device comprising an elongated box-like body consisting of a profile having a substantially U-shaped section, a pair of levers articulated in said box-shaped body in contrast with elastic return means and connected to an articulated parallelogram, one of said levers being operatively connected with a closing lock, a bar housed in said box-shaped body and constrained to said pair of levers so as to be movable, parallel to itself, between a position projecting from said box-shaped body and a position substantially internal to said box-shaped body, characterized by the fact that, at the end opposite the lock, it has a first element for closing the bar and a second element of THE closure of the box-like body, said second element having a height such as not to protrude beyond the bar when the latter is in a position inside said body box-like.
2. Minigene according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that said second closing element comprises a cap having a substantially semicircular conformation with the ends coupled frontally to the walls of the section forming said box-like body, said cap having a height not substantially exceeding that of said walls.
3. Handle according to claim 2 characterized in that said first element has a shape complementary to that of said cap and comprising a semicircular portion intended to remain inside said box-like body and a spherical portion, said semicircular and spherical portions defining a seat for the front insertion of said bar.
4. Handle according to claim 3 characterized in that said cap is fixed to a tab of a support plate of one of said levers.
5. Handle according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that said first element has through holes for fixing screws which engage in grooves of said bar.
6. Panic exit device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized by the fact that it comprises an element for closing the end of said bar opposite to said cap, said end having a bevel and said element being constituted by a sort of cap equipped with grafted ribs in grooves of said bar.
