Each display level is characterized by the fact that, for each element, each display level is wider than the one immediately above it, resulting in a greater protrusion. Given the presence of some elements with side walls inclined with respect to the front vertical plane, the construction of a circular structure is possible. The various modules are joined together using metal hinges or similar material. Description The invention, which is the subject of this invention, concerns a modular display element for the display of food products and the like. In particular, it is an invention with a dual function: on the one hand, it serves to contain and present products to the customer-consumer, and on the other, it serves as a modular display unit that can be adapted to different needs. As is well known, the display units commonly used are made up of shelves, or individual elements generally made of wood, iron or similar material, with different support surfaces. These displays have some disadvantages, in particular the fact that the display shelves are all the same width, meaning that products stored on the lower shelves certainly have less visibility than those stored on the upper shelves. Another downside is that these shelves can be placed side by side to create shelving along entire walls, but in curved spaces or where you want to create display islands in an open space, they certainly look unattractive and unfunctional. However, neither the state of the art currently in use nor the patent applications mentioned above illustrate similar findings and / or methods that overcome the critical aspects mentioned. The present invention aims to overcome the difficulties and disadvantages present in the solutions currently in use. One of the main tasks of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks and problems by creating a modular display element for the display of food products and similar items that allows for the same visibility to be given to all the products stored on the individual support surfaces. Another goal is to create a modular display element for the display of food and similar products capable of conforming and configuring itself according to different technical and commercial needs. Another goal is to create a modular display element for displaying food products and similar items. Given their shape and size, they are suitable for creating display spaces on curved walls or as actual display islands in open spaces. In light of the above and other purposes, a modular display element is provided in accordance with the invention, suitable for connection with equal units or with units derived from it, comprising a first rectangular element, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom surface and, spaced from this, at least one display support surface, and featuring a recess at the top on the longest closed side suitable for housing a semicircular element; a second rectangular element, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom surface and, spaced from this, at least one display support surface, in turn spaced from a further upper support surface; two uprights are fixed to said upper support surface to act as support for a further semicircular element; a third element with a triangular plan, closed on two sides, featuring a closed bottom shelf and, spaced from it, at least one display shelf, also featuring a wedge-shaped extension on the back ending in a semicircle; a fourth element with a rhomboid plan, closed on all sides, featuring a progressive opening towards the inside, a closed bottom shelf spaced considerably from the floor, also featuring at least one display shelf spaced from said bottom shelf; characterised in that for each element each display shelf is wider than the one immediately above it, resulting in a greater protrusion; for each element the side walls are inclined with respect to the vertical plane, allowing for the construction of a circular structure; the various modules are joined together using metal hinges or similar material. Further features and advantages of the invention will be understood from the following description of an application of the invention provided in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, wherein: Figure 1 shows an overall view of the first element; Figure 2 shows an overall view of the second element; Figure 3 shows an overall view of the third element; Figure 4 shows an overall view of the fourth element; Figure 5 shows an overall view of an application that involves the use of four elements of different types. With particular reference to these figures, the modular display element suitable for being connected to equal units or to units derived from it, comprises a first element 1 with a rectangular plan, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom surface la and, spaced from this, at least one display support surface lb, and featuring at the top on the longer closed side le a recess suitable for housing a semicircular element Id; a second element 2 with a rectangular plan, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom surface 2a and, spaced from this, at least one display support surface 2b, in turn spaced from a further upper support surface 2c; two uprights 2d are fixed to said upper support surface suitable for acting as a support for a further semicircular element 2e;a third element 3 with a triangular plan, closed on two sides, featuring a closed bottom surface 3a and, spaced from this, at least one display shelf 3b, also featuring on the back a wedge-shaped extension ending in a semicircle 3c; a fourth element 4 with a rhomboid plan, closed on all sides, featuring a progressive opening towards the inside, a closed bottom surface 4a spaced considerably from the floor, also featuring at least one display shelf 4b spaced from said bottom surface.; The display element created is characterised by the fact that for each element each display level is wider than the one immediately above it, resulting in it being more protruding; this allows complete visibility of all products, both those displayed on the upper floors and those displayed on the lower floors. The display element also features the ability to construct a circular structure, thanks to the presence of some elements with side walls inclined with respect to the front vertical plane; the various modules are joined together using metal hinges or similar material. The operation and use of the modular display element is easily understood from the preceding description. According to a non-exclusive application, in figure 5 the four different elements are placed side by side, exploiting the elements equipped with lateral walls inclined with respect to the frontal vertical plane, generating what is technically called a display island. Advantageously, the invention, which is the subject of the application, allows, thanks to its complete modularity and composition, the creation of display units and display islands, with shapes and capacities based on different technical-commercial and exhibition-logistical needs. In the practical implementation of the invention, the materials used, as well as the shape and dimensions, can be any according to the needs. The invention, of course, is not limited to the description given but can be improved and modified by a skilled craftsman without, however, departing from the scope of the patent.

Claims

CLAIMS 1. Modular display element suitable for connection with identical units or units derived from it, comprising: - a first element with a rectangular plan, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom shelf and, spaced from this, at least one display shelf, and featuring a recess at the top on the longest closed side suitable for housing a semicircular element; - a second rectangular element, closed on three sides, featuring a closed bottom shelf and, spaced from it, at least one display shelf, in turn spaced from a further upper shelf; two uprights are fixed to said upper shelf to act as supports for a further semicircular element; - a third element with a triangular plan, closed on two sides, featuring a closed bottom shelf and, spaced from this, at least one display shelf, also featuring a wedge-shaped extension on the back ending in a semicircle; - a fourth element with a rhomboidal plan, closed on all sides, featuring a progressive opening towards the inside, a closed bottom shelf spaced considerably from the floor, and also featuring at least one display shelf spaced from said bottom shelf; characterized by the fact that - for each element, each display level is wider than the one immediately above it, resulting in a more protruding display; - given the presence of some elements with lateral walls inclined with respect to the frontal vertical plane, it is possible to construct a circular structure; - the different modules are joined together using metal hinges or similar material.
